Prudhoe Hall — a former 19th-century hospital in Northumberland — had been vacant for over 20 years. Rejen Architects were approached to reimagine the site and create a viable strategy for residential conversion and extension.

An earlier approved scheme for 17 units was found to be commercially unviable. Working closely with the client, the local planning authority, and a Conservation Architect, Rejen developed a new approach that increased density to 23 units while maintaining the architectural character of the original buildings. This included restoring a partially demolished stable block and completing the central courtyard with a sensitive new-build wing. A point cloud survey and Revit model were developed to document historic fabric and inform precise design interventions.
